Why does connection fail?
Check that your imported configuration is valid, that the server is reachable, and that iOS VPN permission was approved.
Which SpellVPN edition has ads or subscriptions?
SpellVPN Pro is a paid download with no ads or in-app purchases. SpellVPN Ultra is free, can show Yandex/AdMob ads, and offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions to remove ads and unlock Ultra features.
How can I import a configuration?
Use QR scan, photo QR, clipboard, Files, Wi-Fi Upload, subscription URL, proxy link, system share, or the SpellVPN URL schemes. Supported direct links include ss, vmess, vless, trojan, hysteria2, hy2, tuic, socks, socks5, HTTP, and HTTPS proxy URIs.
What is included in backups?
Full app data export and iCloud Drive backup can include configs, nodes, subscriptions, policy groups, rules, DNS, route mode, virtual adapter settings, and traffic stats. Logs and installed iOS VPN permission are not part of the normal backup.
Can SpellVPN provide a server or subscription?
No. SpellVPN is a client. It does not sell, host, or recommend VPN servers.
Where are my configs stored?
Configs and logs are stored on your device unless you export, share, or back them up through iCloud Drive. Clearing local data does not delete iCloud Drive backup files.
