Data You Provide
VPN XX stores subscription URLs, proxy links, imported node details, node names, favorites, speed-test status, and related settings that you enter, scan, paste, import, or create in the app.
Local Storage and iCloud
Subscription and node data is stored on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled and available, the app can sync this data through your private iCloud account using CloudKit.
Subscription Refresh and Speed Testing
When you refresh a subscription, VPN XX connects to the subscription URL you provided. When you test node speed or reachability, the app may connect to endpoints contained in your imported nodes.
Two Editions
VPN XX is available in two editions. VPN XX Free includes advertising. VPN XX Pro is a paid-download edition with no ads.
Advertising in the Free Edition
VPN XX Free integrates Yandex Mobile Ads and Google AdMob through Yandex Smart Waterfall mediation. The free edition may show banner, app-open, interstitial, and native in-feed ads, including around subscription refresh, node import, speed testing, sharing, and node/subscription list browsing. These third-party advertising SDKs may process data to load, show, measure, limit, personalize, and protect ads. The exact processing can depend on your region, device settings, consent choices, the ad format shown, and each ad network's current SDK behavior.
Advertising Data That May Be Processed
Advertising SDKs may process IP address and approximate location inferred from IP address; device and app information such as device model, operating system version, language, screen size, app version, and network connection; advertising identifiers such as Apple's Identifier for Advertisers where permitted; app- or developer-scoped device identifiers; ad request and response data; ads shown, impressions, clicks, close events, video views, and other ad interactions; app launch and product interaction events related to ad delivery; performance information such as launch time, hang rate, energy usage, and ad load timing; and diagnostic information such as SDK errors, crash logs, and other technical logs.
Advertising Purposes
This data may be used for ad delivery, contextual or personalized ads where permitted, frequency capping, ad measurement, attribution, reporting, fraud prevention, security, debugging, SDK performance improvement, compliance, and ad revenue reporting. Advertising partners may process this data under their own privacy policies, including Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and Yandex Privacy Policy at https://yandex.com/legal/confidential/.
Choices and Consent
Where required by law or platform rules, VPN XX Free may ask for consent before requesting personalized ads or accessing Apple's advertising identifier. You can limit ad tracking through iOS privacy settings. If you decline tracking or personalized ads, the free edition may still show non-personalized or contextual ads, and advertising SDKs may still process limited data needed for ad delivery, security, fraud prevention, measurement, and compliance.
Pro Edition
VPN XX Pro is a paid-download edition. It does not show ads and does not initialize Yandex Mobile Ads or Google AdMob for ad serving.
No Developer-Provided VPN Network
VPN XX does not sell VPN nodes, provide proxy subscriptions, or operate a VPN traffic network.
Children's Privacy
VPN XX is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If a future version changes advertising partners, adds new advertising SDKs, changes advertising data types, changes subscription or purchase features, or adds accounts, developer-operated cloud sync, analytics, crash reporting, or other data collection, this policy and the App Store privacy labels will be updated.
