Editions and Monetization
ArtCut Paid is a paid-download edition with no ads. ArtCut Free is a free-download edition that can show ads. If membership, premium templates, or other subscription features are enabled in a later version, App Store metadata and this privacy policy should be updated before release.
Media, Drafts, and Caches
Imported videos, project drafts, export files, reversed clip renders, extracted audio, automatic caption results, and generated caches are stored on your device by default.
Photos
ArtCut may request access to Photos so you can import videos and save exported videos.
Camera and Microphone
If capture features are enabled in the final app, ArtCut may request camera and microphone access so you can record video or audio for editing.
Speech Recognition
Automatic captions use Apple's speech recognition framework when you explicitly start caption generation.
Advertising in ArtCut Free
ArtCut Free integrates Yandex Mobile Ads with Google AdMob mediation through Yandex Smart Waterfall. The free edition may show editor banner ads, native or feed ad slots in draft/tool/timeline surfaces, interstitial ads after export or other eligible editing workflows, and app-open ads. The app waits for App Tracking Transparency status before initializing Yandex Mobile Ads or creating banner, native/feed, interstitial, or app-open ad requests. These third-party advertising SDKs may process data to load, show, measure, limit, personalize, and protect ads.
Advertising Data That May Be Processed
Advertising SDKs may process IP address and approximate location inferred from IP address; device and app information such as device model, operating system version, language, screen size, app version, and network connection; advertising identifiers such as Apple's Identifier for Advertisers where permitted; app- or developer-scoped device identifiers; ad request and response data; ads shown, impressions, clicks, close events, video views, and other ad interactions; app launch and product interaction events related to ad delivery; performance information such as launch time, hang rate, energy usage, and ad load timing; and diagnostic information such as SDK errors, crash logs, and other technical logs.
Advertising Purposes
This data may be used for ad delivery, contextual or personalized ads where permitted, frequency capping, ad measurement, attribution, reporting, fraud prevention, security, debugging, SDK performance improvement, compliance, and ad revenue reporting. Advertising partners may process this data under their own privacy policies, including Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and Yandex Privacy Policy at https://yandex.com/legal/confidential/.
Choices and Consent
ArtCut Free resolves App Tracking Transparency status before advertising SDK initialization in the ad-supported build. Where required by law or platform rules, ArtCut Free may also ask for consent before requesting personalized ads or accessing Apple's advertising identifier. You can limit ad tracking through iOS privacy settings. If you decline tracking or personalized ads, the free edition may still show non-personalized or contextual ads, and advertising SDKs may still process limited data needed for ad delivery, security, fraud prevention, measurement, and compliance.
Paid Edition
ArtCut Paid is a paid-download edition. It does not show ads and does not initialize Yandex Mobile Ads or Google AdMob for ad serving.
Sharing and Export
When you export, save, or share a video, the selected output may be handled by Apple system services or by apps and services you choose from the share sheet.
Children's Privacy
ArtCut is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If a future version changes advertising partners, adds new advertising SDKs, changes advertising data types, changes subscription or purchase features, or adds accounts, developer-operated cloud sync, analytics, crash reporting, or other data collection, this policy and the App Store privacy labels will be updated.
